Mohan Wilson gets additional role at Nissan Motor Corporation

In a strategic maneuver aimed at bolstering its marketing and corporate strategy division, Nissan Motor Corporation has appointed Mohan Wilson as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, underscoring the company's commitment to innovation and growth. Wilson, who has been associated with Nissan Motor for nearly two years, previously served as the Director of Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience at Nissan India. His extensive experience and commendable contributions have earned him this prestigious role within the company. Wilson’s career spans across various facets of the automotive industry. Having delved into diverse domains including media planning, automotive, electric vehicles (EV), product launch, strategy, e-commerce, advertising, product marketing, product management, and marketing communications, Wilson emerges as a multifaceted leader poised to drive Nissan's marketing endeavors to new heights.

His journey commenced at Gothaer AG, where he laid the groundwork for his future successes, subsequently traversing through notable organizations such as AXA, Audi India, Audi AG, and INFINITI Motor Company. At INFINITI, Wilson served as the Head of Global Marketing Planning, spearheading the global marketing planning function and reporting directly to the Global Head of M&S Division. He orchestrated global marketing investments, conceptualized data-driven marketing strategies, and forged pivotal partnerships with Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance partners, including Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

Saurabh Vatsa, reporting to Frank Torres, President of Nissan India Operations and Region Divisional Vice President of Business Transformation (AMIEO), expressed confidence in Wilson's leadership, stating, "As we transition into a new phase of the transformation plan for India, we are assured of having an experienced and insightful leader in Saurabh Vatsa. He will build on the foundation laid by Rakesh and spearhead our next phase of growth.”
