MTV and Swipe Telecom partners to launch a new tablet MTV SLASH

Creating a strong foot hold in the technology market, MTV India, the leading youth brand in association with Swipe Telecom, announced the launch of their third co-branded Fablet – MTV Slash. This new enviable piece of technology will be India’s first co-branded thinnest 7” Fablet. MTV Slash by Swipe is modestly priced at Rs. 9,490 and shall be available across 10,000 retail points, Swipe e-store and also other leading online portals like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Infibeam, eBay and other youth centric platforms.

The Fablet boasts a slim body and a stunning feather touch screen, coupled with dual camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Its ergonomic design enables easy one hand operations, making the Fablet unique. The product is designed retaining MTV’s quintessence which is detailed out in the design, the packaging, the themes and wallpapers available in the device. MTV Slash offers three pre-loaded MTV apps making the user experience more engaging. The ‘MTV India’ app gives you exclusive access to all the MTV Shows, Blogs, Videos, Web Shows, Buzz, Photos, Downloads and much more on the device. The ‘MTV Funny’ app fills in as a daily dose of laughs and madness with funny pictures, trolls and memes from funny people on the internet. Users can LOL, Like and Share new ‘funnys’ every day! The ‘MTV Hottie’ app provides a peek in to the unbridled sensuality of the MTV Splitsvilla contestants across five seasons. All this packed together makes the Fablet a must have!

MTV Slash by Swipe was launched in Mumbai by popular MTV VJs Anusha Dandekar and Nikhil Chinapa.
