MTV Rush all set to hook the audience

MTV’s 13 part movie - Series ‘Vodafone MTV Rush’ premieres on the 15th of July at 7 pm exclusively on MTV. Vodafone ‘MTV Rush’ is created by acclaimed Bollywood Director Bejoy Nambiar of ‘Shaitan’ fame. The story revolves around 12 characters and the one common string - a college festival. The film will roll out in 13 episodes and every episode will focus on one character. The series will see cameo appearance by many popular faces and talent such as Bollywood actor Pratik Babar, actor singer & music composer Shruti Hassan, multi-talented & entertaining Javed Jaffrey, the dancing feet Isha Sharvani and actor & singer Monica Dogra among others. Vodafone MTV Rush promises to keep the audiences hooked on to their television screens as it will provide a dose of entertainment, drama, action and some nail biting moments.
 
Vodafone MTV Rush was launched in Mumbai’s Red Ant to announce the movie series ‘Vodafone MTV Rush’ ; present were Bejoy Nambiar – Director, Milind Soman – Producer: Face Entertainment, Aditya Swamy – EVP and Business Head MTV India, Anuradha Agarwal, Senior VP Brand Communication and Insights, Vodafone India, along with the assistant directors and cast of the show. The launch also had actor singer & music composer Shruti Hassan, actor Shahana Goswami, super model Tamara Moss etc. The evening also saw some brilliant performances on the songs of the show like Salaam Thok by Prashant Pillai – Music Director of ‘Rush’ & singer Preeti Pillai; and on the Rush Theme by Anirudh Ravichander, composer of ‘Kolaveridi’.
 
Each episode treats audiences to a peek into one character’s fantastic 48 hours (the duration of the college festival), that change their whole lives. Right from the brutal and nerve-wracking experience that a young girl faces when she decides to trust her lying boyfriend with what’s most precious to her, to a drug peddler who scrounges the fest for fresh clients, to a B-boy who wants nothing but a chance to prove himself, to a guitarist who finds her lost love for music in an ethereal epiphany – this show has it all and more and is poised to be the game changer in Indian television.
 
Talking about the show, Aditya Swamy- EVP & Business Head, MTV India, said, “MTV Rush is a fresh concept and will be relayed as a 13 part series.
