‘My Life My Story’ – A tête-à-tête with Bollywood Legends premiering on 4th February

Full of luminaries, high voltage drama and the highest number of films produced per year, Bollywood has recently completed over a century since inception. Zee Classic, with its brand promise of Woh Zamaana Kare Deewana, presents a new chat show hosted by RJ Anmol called ‘My Life My Story’. It features revelations made by veterans of the film industry and celebrates their journey and contribution to the success of Bollywood. It’s up close and personal with the industry stalwarts starting 4th February, every Saturday at 7 PM.

Hindi cinema stands strong on the relentless contribution of numerous artists who worked for its continued growth. From directors to writers to actors to singers, some of best creative minds graced Bollywood and their journeys still create awe-inspiring moments. Giving viewers an exclusive peek into the challenging, glamorous, and charismatic lives of these stars through a casual, informal chat, ‘My Life My Story’ attempts to highlight the lesser known struggles of their lives and what went behind their meteoric rise.  The series will see renowned names like Salim Khan, Raveena Tandon, Subhash Ghai, Bappi Laihri, amongst others who share unknown stories from their professional and personal lives.

Appearing on the launch episode, ace scriptwriter Salim Khan spills the beans on his equation with Salman Khan, his favourite movie till date and many more unknown anecdotes. Commenting on his secular value system he shares, “In the event of an accident in our family, my wife still shouts out “Oh Deva” and I say “Oh God”, I think that sums up the religious standing we rest upon.” This is just one of the many intriguing stories that the veteran shares including his parting with Javed Akhtar, family bonding and much more.

From the making of the success of the showman Subhash Ghai to the rise of cabaret queen Helen to the charming presence of revolutionary actress Zeenat Aman, ‘My Life My Story’ promises to draw up the curtains on the untold stories of these Hindi cinema stalwarts.
