Nalin Negi to be interim CEO of BharatPe after Suhail Sameer’s exit

Nalin Negi, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BharatPe, will take on the role of interim CEO. The development comes on the back of CEO Suhail Sameer stepping down from his role. Sameer, who has been taking charge as CEO since the ouster of Co-Founder Ashneer Grover, will continue his association with the company as a strategic advisor, as per media reports.

Negi joined BharatPe in August 2022. Prior to this, he was CFO with SBI Cards for five years.

In the meantime, the board of directors of BharatPe have engaged an executive search firm to search for a new CEO and pave the way for a smooth succession of the top leadership position.
