NDTV shareholders okay Sanjay Pugalia, Senthil Chengalvarayan's appointment as directors

NDTV's shareholders have accepted four special nominations of Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil Chengalvarayan as full-time independent directors.

Starting April 2023, they will serve as full-time directors for three years.

Former non-executive directors included Pugalia and Chengalvarayan.

Additionally, the appointment of Upendra Kumar Singh and Dipali Goenka as independent directors was supported by the shareholders.

Pugalia and Chengalvarayan were chosen to replace Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, respectively, as board members of RRPR Holding Private Limited shortly after their resignations in November 2022 following the Adani Group's acquisition of the company.
