Netflix announces its first ever live-streaming event with Chris Rock

For the first time ever, Netflix will debut its first massive live global event, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The streaming giant will be using its live-streaming technology for streaming this event.

“Chris Rock is one of the most iconic and important comedic voices of our generation,” said Robbie Praw, Netflix Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats. “We’re thrilled the entire world will be able to experience a live Chris Rock comedy event and be a part of Netflix history. This will be an unforgettable moment and we’re so honored that Chris is carrying this torch.”

Rock’s special will stream live on Netflix on March 4, 7pm PT/10pm ET.

The comedy special will be streaming live from Baltimore, Maryland.

Rock also appeared at the Netflix is a Joke comedy festival, which featured 330 comedians and sold more than 260,000 tickets, reports Deadline.
