Network18 re-appoints Rahul Joshi as MD for three more years till 2024

Rahul Joshi, who was appointed as Managing Director for a term of three years till July 8, 2021 at Network18, has got an extension in his tenure. In a statement issued, Network18 has informed the bourses that Joshi has been re-appointed as Managing Director of the company with effect from July 9, 2021 for a further period of three years up to July 8, 2024.

“Rahul Joshi is not related to any of the Director of the Company and he is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of SEBI or any such other authority,” Network18 declared in its statement.

Joshi had joined Network18 in 2015 as CEO, News and Group Editor-in-Chief. In 2018, he was elevated as Managing Director for a term of three years till July 8, 2021.

He had earlier worked with Economic Times for almost two decades and was named as one of the youngest editors. Joshi had also worked as an editorial director for ET and was instrumental in shaping its digital coverage online. He was also on the board of the News Broadcasters Association.
