New appointments at Dentsu India; Picks C.P. Arora as Group CFO & Suprotim Day as Chief Films Officer

Continuing with the series of senior-level appointments, the Dentsu India Group today announced two key appointments. Suprotim Day joins as Chief Films Officer, Dentsu India and C.P. Arora has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, Dentsu India.

C.P. Arora (popularly known as CP) takes on the mantle of Group Chief Financial Officer, from Nobuki Sakai who was seconded to Dentsu India early last year. CP joins Dentsu from JWT, Delhi where he was Vice President and Executive Commercial Director. As Strategic Business Partner with JWT, Delhi at both, the Corporate and Business Unit level, CP tracked financial efficiency and profitability, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance and overall financial operations for JWT Delhi Office.

In his last assignment, Suprotim Day (known as Tim) was Head of Stink, London's operations in India. Stink, London is among UK's leading production houses and he was instrumental in setting up a JV between Stink and QED Films in India. The production house serviced agencies such as JWT, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Lowe, Publicis and Cheil Communications among others.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the Production and Direction of commercials, Suprotim Day is one of the most sought after and respected Film Heads in the business. He has been in the forefront of producing large scale advertising films for clients like PepsiCo, Airtel, Sony, Nokia, ESPN, Hero Honda, Frito Lays, Samsung, Electrolux, Mitsubishi, Dabur, McDonalds and Nestle to name a few.

Previously, Tim led the Films Department at JWT Delhi for over 5 years where as Agency Producer, he shot and post-produced films all over the world. Some of his most recent films include the KitKat "Squirrel', the Cannes Award winning, Airtel "Endless Goodbye' and the Mountain Dew "Wing Suit' flying spot with Salman Khan.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, C.P. Arora will now be responsible for the financial plans, P&L management, policies, and accounting practices of the Dentsu India Group. He will also lead the accounting, budgeting, fund management, and financing functions of all the Dentsu India Group companies.

A qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with nearly twenty years' experience in financial management, CP is a Strategic Financial Planner with expertise in designing and implementing systems/procedures to facilitate internal financial control, SOX Compliance and enhance the overall efficiency of the organization.

Known for his excellent analytical skills, his areas of expertise also include Budgetary Control, Financial Reporting & Analysis, P&L Management, ERP System Implementation, Fund Management, Taxation, Auditing, Commercial Operations and Legal Affairs to name a few.
