Omnicom Media Group launches Fuse in Spain

Omnicom Media Group, a prominent player in the advertising industry, has introduced its sports and entertainment marketing agency, Fuse, in Spain. The seasoned executive, Juli Ferre, has been appointed to spearhead this new division. Fuse offers comprehensive partnership solutions, including strategic consulting, partnership brokering, negotiation, activation and measurement, and support for rightsholders through commercial product consultancy and go-to-market services.

Headquartered in London, Fuse currently operates in 12 international markets, collaborating with both brands and rightsholders. Juli Ferre, with two decades of experience in the sector, has previously worked with renowned brands such as Cirque du Soleil, FIBA, FC Barcelona, and AS Monaco. In her new role, she will be responsible for the launch of the agency in Spain.

In a related development, TBWA, another advertising firm under the Omnicom Group umbrella, acquired Dark Horses, a sports-focused agency based in the UK. TBWA plans to leverage Dark Horses for various services, including brand creation, on-the-ground activation, social content, PR, sponsorship, and influencer marketing. Dark Horses, led by CEO Melissa Robertson, Executive Creative Director Steve Howell, and Chief Strategy Officer Matt Readman, boasts a diverse client roster spanning sports, fitness, health, and wellbeing.
