Less of a remake and more of a tribute to the original Agneepath, the film is about the sociology of power coupled with the fight for justice and revenge.

‘Agneepath’ is a story of a young boy named Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hritik Roshan) who is taught by his principled father about the path of fire. However, his life takes a 360 degree turn when a drug dealer named Kancha (Sanjay Dutt) kills his father before his eyes. Vijay leaves for Mumbai with his pregnant mother and his only mission in life becomes his urge to come back to Mandwa and take revenge. Once in Mumbai, the 12 year old Vijay is taken under the wings of Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor) and 15 years later, Vijay grows up to become a smart, handsome and clever young man. He finds a confidante in Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), his best and only friend. Before Vijay plots Kancha Cheena's downfall, watch him first embrace Rauf Lala, then try to swap Kancha's entry into Mumbai in order to return to Mandwa. His hatred for Kaancha finally takes him back to Mandwa where his life comes to a full circle.

Does Kancha fall prey to Vijay’s trap? Will Vijay succeed in avenging his father’s death and finally restore family honour in Mandwa? Keep watching &pictures for more.
