Polycab India launches Diwali Campaign

This festive season, India’s leading electrical goods company, Polycab India Limited, is delighted to introduce a heart-warming DVC campaign ‘Dill Ke Roshani’ that pays tribute to electricians and the spirit of Diwali. This film aims to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of electricians, even amidst the festive celebrations. The compelling narrative encapsulates the essence of the Festival of Lights, emphasizing the significance of human connections and how electricians support us during the festivities and brighten our lives.

The essence of the film lies in how an electrician helps bring back cheer at an orphanage, sacrificing precious moments with his family. The DVC opens at a bustling shop, where we witness Vinod purchasing gifts for celebrating Diwali with his family. His excitement is palpable as he answers a call from his wife and promises to be there with her and the children. While on his way home, he receives another call from Kishan Kaka informing him that there has been a power outage in their area for the past three days. Despite knowing, he is running late, Vinod diverts from his route, compelled by a sense of responsibility. As he reaches his destination, he sees himself in front of a small orphanage, plunged into darkness.

The film beautifully portrays the magic of human connection as Vinod, aided by the children of the orphanage, sets out to restore light to their lives. Using Polycab Green wire, he fixes the electrical issue, and the entire orphanage is illuminated in the warm glow of lights. The children, overjoyed by this, start dancing in happiness. The film ends with an emotional turn of events, as Vinod sees his wife at the orphanage. This truly encapsulates the message of ‘Jaha Tum Waha Humari Diwali’ (Our Diwali will be celebrated wherever you are).

Mr. Nilesh Malani, Executive President and Chief Marketing Officer at Polycab India, remarks, “The film aims to highlight the sacrifices made by the electrician community in order to bring light and joy to others. Electricians are domain experts whose professional responsibility and commitment goes beyond call of duty; they look at their work not as business but service to society. The film portrays the invaluable support that electricians receive from their families in fulfilling their duties. We extend our gratitude and pay tribute to all the electricians across the country who tirelessly brighten our homes while sometimes putting their own happiness on hold. As a leader in the consumer electrical goods segment, we wholeheartedly recognize their significant contribution to society."

The campaign will be propagated on social media with its emotionally charged narrative and meaningful message, the DVC is expected to resonate with a wide range of audience.

At Polycab, we focus on fostering human-centricity across our value chains. This endearing drive was launched to recognise the sacrifices made by electricians while they helped us light up our homes in the festive seasons away from their loved ones. We plan to organize ‘Electrician Diwali Melas’ across 10 cities for their families to ensure they can celebrate Diwali with people who matter the most to them.

Polycab, a trusted brand synonymous with electrical solutions that brighten homes across the nation, plays a central role in this touching narrative. The film showcases Polycab's commitment to providing reliable and safe electrical solutions that ensure all homes are always well-lit, especially during festive occasions like Diwali.

The heart-warming film is a testament to the company's values and mission to illuminate lives and bring people closer together. This Diwali, Polycab encourages everyone to cherish and strengthen their bonds with loved ones because it's the connections we make that truly light up our lives.
