PR Society of India inaugurates PR-Mass Comm Orientation Programme

Member of Rajya Sabha, Shri Naresh Bansal, President of International Public Relations Association, Mr. Phileppe Borremans, Dr.Ajit Pathak, National President of Public Relations Society of India and Mr. Y Babji, Secretary General of Public Relations Society of India  inaugurated the PR- Mass Communication Orientation Programme for Students on 1st October,2021 at 5:00 pm. The coordinator of the event was Ms. Sayantani Roy from Auro University, Surat. The event  proceeded further with Prof. Raj Kumar Singh, Dean (R&D) and HOD (Dept of Commerce), Chairman of Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Skill Development at School of Management Sciences, Varanasi with his guest lecture on Entrepreneurship Avenues in Mass Communication as a Career option in Industry.

The event took place on Facebook live. It was also made available on Youtube channel of  PRSI.

Students of Public Relations, Journalism and Mass Communication and the practicing professionals participated in the event to upgrade their communication skills.

Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), the national association of PR practitioners was established in 1958 to promote the recognition of public relations as a profession and to formulate and interpret to the public the objectives and the potentialities of public relations as a strategic management function. The management of the Public Relations society of India is vested in the National Council, consisting of representatives elected by all the regional chapters.
