Q releases the trailer of his next film 'Tasher Desh'

Director Q (Kaushik Mukherjee) who came into international prominence with ‘Gandu’ is back with yet another masterpiece, ‘Tasher Desh’. The makers of the film have released a three minute trailer which gives one a glimpse of the ‘trippy adaptation" of Rabindranath Tagore’s dance drama with the same name.

Tasher Desh (House of Cards) will be world premiered at the 7th Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) next week. It is the only Indian film to be selected for RIFF this year; the film will be competing in the festival's Cinema XXI section between November 9 to 17.

Anuragh Kashyap known for his eye for talent, has joined hands with Q to produce the film.  The script for Q's next has been described as a cross between the classic Bengali work and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Tasher Desh is slated for a 2013 first quarter release in India. Looks like Q is going to create magic on the silver screen all over again!!
