Quick commerce bails out Indians ordering last minute V-Day gifts

As the day of love draws near, Swiggy instamart, a leading quick-commerce grocery delivery platform, is gearing up to spread the warmth with a captivating array of roses, chocolates, gifts, cards, and other Valentine’s Day essentials. The platform is leaving no petal unturned, stocking an impressive 1.5 million roses to ensure that love blossoms across the nation.

A significant portion of these roses, renowned for their high quality, are being sourced through La Flauer, an exporter of high-quality floral treasures. Traditionally limited to international markets, this collaboration showcases how quick commerce is transforming accessibility to high-quality products for consumers. This strategic sourcing not only elevates the overall quality of the flowers but also underscores how the evolution of quick commerce is democratizing the availability of premium products within minutes.

Last Valentine’s Day, Swiggy Instamart prepared for a 4x increase in the sale of roses to around 1 million. Bangalore, known for its vibrant culture and romantic allure, emerged as the leader in expressing love through roses in 2023 by ordering 1 in every 5 roses last V-Day. Interestingly, a single customer from Kolkata ordered 150 roses last year for Valentine’s Day.

This Valentine’s Day, the platform is not merely delivering gifts; it is delivering an experience, bridging gaps and ensuring that the language of love is spoken eloquently through each carefully curated item.
