QUO & Sartha to strengthen the presence of Las Vegas Conv in India

Las Vegas Conventions & Visitors Association (LVCVA) has affirmed its commitment to the outbound Indian tourism market by selecting two local companies, QUO India and Sartha Marketing Consultants, to strengthen their presence in India. QUO India, based in New Delhi and Sartha Marketing Consultants, also based in the Capital with an office in Mumbai, will handle PR and trade outreach drives respectively.

“We are committed to India as a potential area of great growth for Las Vegas,” said Cathy Tull, LVCVA Senior Vice President of Marketing, on announcing the appointments. “As a destination for the Indian tourist, Las Vegas has something for everyone and holds limitless possibilities for entertainment, culture, music, culinary interests and adventure.”

Las Vegas, always a must-visit destination, has more than ever to offer the Indian traveller. From the iconic Bellagio Fountains to unique musical, theatre and circus performances, to adventure thrills on air, land and water, the experience is topped off by stays at some of the world’s most famous hotels and dining destinations from a collection of the world’s top chefs. Whether regular visitors or first timers, Las Vegas offers guests the time of their lives.

Las Vegas has welcomed more international visitors in the last couple years than ever before and predicts the trend will continue. Currently, 15-18 percent of annual travelers to Las Vegas are international, which equates to about 6.5 million visitors generating 27 percent of the destination’s total annual tourism revenue.

“With endless entertainment, culinary and shopping options along with great value for money and MICE options, Las Vegas has never been a more attractive travel proposition for international tourists,” said Cathy Tull. “Additionally, we continue to create more accessibility for the international traveler by securing more non-stop flights from key countries.”

Las Vegas currently welcomes 173 weekly flights from 19 international cities. With a new international terminal opening this June at McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas has never been more accessible and more welcoming to international visitors.

“We are proud and delighted to be undertaking the PR remit for a destination as full of fun as Las Vegas” said QUO Managing Partner, Caroline Rowe. “As the ‘entertainment capital of the world’ we will have no end of exciting stories to work on together with the media.”

Sheema Vohra, President, Sartha Marketing Consultants said, “We are very excited to be representing   LVCVA in India. Las Vegas is an exciting and vibrant destination with incredible attractions for people of all ages. With its infinite entertainment, diverse culinary and shopping options, the destination offers a range of experiences to fit the needs of all Indian travellers.”
