Rajkummar Rao Connects with On-Screen Character at Jio MAMI 2023

IMDb is hosting its first-ever exclusive portrait and video studio in India at the Jio 2023 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, expanding its on-the-ground presence at leading festivals worldwide. The studio aims to give fans a virtual front-row seat to all the latest news, titles and stars at MAMI.

At the Portrait Studio, Rajkummar Rao answered some of IMDb’s ‘Burning Questions’ where he revealed candid details on which character he resonates with the most, who from the world of cinema would he like to grab a drink with, amongst other details.

Speaking of the on-screen character that he resonates with the most, Rajkummar revealed “Newton”

On being asked to name one person from the world of movies he would like to have a drink with, Rajkummar said, “There are a couple. Mr Daniel Day-Lewis, now that he is retired from acting, I think he will have enough time to talk with me about his process. Meryl Streep because she always says, “I don’t know how I do it”. I want to tell her that she does know how to do it and ask her how she does it. Mr. Chaplin would be another person on the list. Dilip Kumar Sahab as well  and of course, Shah Rukh Khan sir.” 

Rajkummar also suggested two people from the Indian film industry who should work together for a movie, “Me and Kamal Haasan Sir. It’s my wishful thinking.”
