Rajnish Khare joins Union Bank of India as Chief Digital Officer

On November 2, 2022, Rajnish Khare started working as the CDO for the Union Bank of India. Having built progressive and future-shaping transformational experiences and capabilities for domestic and international banks over the course of his 23 years in the banking industry, he has been in charge of digital strategy, technology, transformation, payments, digital channels, innovation, platforms, ecosystem, and future-ready initiatives.
In his previous organizations, he successfully held executive leadership positions, including those as Head of Digital Transformation at HDFC Bank, Chief Innovation Officer at Citibank, Head of Direct Banking and Innovation at Standard Chartered Bank, and Head of Alternate Channels and Cross Sell at ICICI Bank and others. In these and other important roles, he focused on developing global digital assets to enhance organizational business and speed up growth.
He has received many honors, national and international. A few significant ones are the Golden Peacock Award for Innovation, ICON of the Year by HDFC Bank MD, and Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Leader of the Year by IDC Singapore.
He is an international speaker and mentors startups and fintechs all around the world.
