Ranveer Singh is on the look-out for ‘Good Potato’
Bingo!, the popular snacking brand from ITC Ltd. has launched a new campaign for its potato chips category. Everything that makes its way into a pack of Bingo! chips is made from fine ingredients, including ‘only good quality’ potatoes that are carefully selected & processed. The brand wanted to celebrate the ‘Achha Aloo’ that is essential to the delectable chips albeit in the quirkiest possible manner.
Bingo! is a brand which is acclaimed for its distinct, clutter-breaking, youth-centric, witty communication that takes consumers on enthralling journey of exciting and engaging content. This campaign is yet another humorous and memorable film from the brand wherein they have made ‘achha aloo’ (good potato) the centrepiece.
In the present times, hygiene and quality are of paramount importance to consumers while making purchase decisions. Bingo! wanted to reassure consumers of its quality quotient through its quintessential fun and irreverent stance, which the brand is admired for.
The TVC features the brand ambassador and superstar Ranveer Singh. Dressed as a detective, he is on a mission to find an ‘achha aloo’ (good potato) in a place full of potatoes. To help himself identify the right potato, he tricks those around him by deliberately pretending to fall down with a bag full of money. While most potatoes run for the bag full of money, a good potato comes to his rescue. Ranveer meets success on his mission and this changes his mood immediately and is seen elated and in a celebratory mood. The film ends with Ranveer crowning the good potato and spreads the message that only good quality potatoes are used by the brand.
