Red FM hires Krishna Menon and Anand Raj

Red FM has announced the appointment of Krishna Menon as National Activation Head & Station Head, Mumbai and Anand Raj as Station Head, New Delhi. Krishna brings with him a progressive experience in sales & business management of about eleven years whereas Anand was earlier involved with the national promotions and client solutions portfolio for Red FM in Mumbai for the past two and a half years.

Commenting on the new appointments, an official spokesperson from Red FM said, "We are pleased to have Krishna on board. Krishna's reputation in the entertainment industry precedes him in the marketplace. We are confident, given his excellent track record and entrepreneurial skills; he will be able to take Red FM's activations division, Red ACTIV to new heights. About Anand, all I can say is that we are thrilled to have found a highly driven leader internally who is capable of spearheading our ambitious plans for the Delhi Station!"

In addition to his mandate of managing Red FM's Mumbai Station, Krishna will be involved in advertiser funded programming, consumer engagement and on-ground promotions amongst others, as Head of Red ACTIV.

Prior to his appointment at Red FM, Krishna worked with Bloomberg UTV as the AVP for the Advertiser Funded Programs Division. He was also associated with a leading radio station and was instrumental in setting up their activations team and was responsible for the launch of their Trivandrum station. He has also had triumphant stints at organizations such as Diageo, BPL Mobile and E18.

Anand Raj comes with overall experience of 14 years of which he essayed the role of a media professional for 10 years. He was previously associated with Astro All Asia Network, Reliance Infocomm and Sahara Network.
