Red FM says #HappyBirthdayPritam

It is hamare “pyaare” Pritam’s birthday today, most known for his show, “Gyaarah se doh, Bhabhi Ka Show” on Red FM. Currently, he has been consistently winning hearts as a finalist contestant on Bigg Boss 8. And the celebrations have just begun!

To show their love for him and express their steady support, Amanjot Singh, Pritam’s wife along with his parents and his fans visited the Red FM studio to celebrate his birthday. These fans were invited to the studios where they got a chance to click pictures with a life-size cut-out of RJ Pritam aka Pritam Pyaare, and were also given his masks to wear and click selfies! Post this, Pritam’s wife engaged in a live tweet chat with his fans from Red FM’s official twitter account @RedFM_Mumbai!!

As part of the celebrations, Malishka connected with Pritam live in the Bigg Boss house. All the inmates of Bigg Boss 8 were woken up with the Red FM station tune along with Pritam’s radio show’s tune. An excited Pritam woke up listening to these familiar sounds, and loud chants of “Happy Birthday Pritam” from RJ Malishka and fans.  His wife Amanjot surprised him by wishing him from the Red FM studio, and Pritam did not even recognize his wife’s voice initially, much to the amusement of his fans and the inmates at the Bigg Boss 8 House. She also went on to wish the other contestants good luck for the remaining weeks of the show.

A few interesting details emerged in the course of the conversation between RJ Malishka and Pritam and some of the other inmates of Bigg Boss 8 –
·         On being asked about his constant flip flops in the “apparent” friendship with Pritam, Gautam Gulati reaffirmed the fact that he and Pritam are good friends

·         Pritam followed his wife in an autorickshaw post their break up, as mentioned by one of the inmates who said that she had heard interesting anecdotes from Pritam himself

·         On being asked to choose an inmate whom he would continue being friends for the rest of his life, Pritam jokingly said that it would be Upen Patel as he had made plans to go to London

There was still another surprise waiting for Pritam. RJ Malishka asked him and Upen to go to the storeroom for a surprise. Upon entering the store room, Pritam let out a joyous scream on seeing Lollypops lying around! Yes, Lollypops, which are Pritam’s birthday tradition! As Malishka explained, every year on Pritam’s birthday, he treats everyone to Lollypops while simultaneously chanting, “Aaj mera Birthday Hai, Sab Log Lollypop choosenge”!
