Rediffusion Y&R gets creative mandate for Hometown account

Rediffusion-Y&R has won the creative duties for Hometown, India's largest retailer of home-making and home improvement solutions and products, a brand of Pantaloon Retail Pvt. Ltd., Future Group. The account was contested last month by many agencies that include Lowe, McCann, Ulka and O&M. Leo Burnett is the incumbent agency. The account will be handled out of Rediffusion-Y&R's Mumbai office with immediate effect. The size of the business is estimated to be above Rs. 30 crore.

Commenting on the win, Nisha Singhania, EVP and Branch Head, Rediffusion Y&R Mumbai, said "Our consumer understanding and insights along with strategic intent for the brand helped us clinch the business. We look forward to a fruitful relationship with the Future Group."
