The festival of colours is here to spread some cheer amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in a second wave across the country. TMoj – be it celebrating Holi responsibly or virtually while being distanced from friends and family. We saw the Surf Excel Holi ad where colours have been used as a medium of ‘togetherness’. This year, it shows how the colours of Holi can help bridge emotional distances and bring hearts closer, despite physical distancing.

With Holi approaching, colors and conversations have begun splashing across people’s Facebook feeds. In the past two weeks, more than 4 million people in India have made over 6.6 million posts and comments about Holi on Facebook. To add to the festive cheer online, FB users can now personalise their Avatars with Holi-themed stickers. The new Holi stickers will appear in the sticker library when the user is posting or commenting on Facebook posts, or while using the Messenger.
#FilterwaliHoli with fbb
Uniting colours with love, fbb, the popular fashion destination by Future Group, along with NDMPL has introduced a Holi campaign – #FilterWaliHoli. While we cannot consciously celebrate and hold gatherings, the idea of ‘celebration’ continues with fbb’s Filter Wali Holi. The brand has launched a filter on Instagram called #FilterWaliHoli, where every individual who tries on the filter, experiences the same ecstatic feeling digitally!
