RNI reopens e-filing portal to file annual statement from Aug 6-21

Following the requests of publishers, the Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI) has decided to re-open the e-filing portal for the publishers who are yet to file their annual statements for FY2021. The e-filing portal will remain open from August 6 to 21, 2021.

In a notice issued, RNI stated, “Based on several requests received from publishers and organisations, it has been decided to re-open the e-filing portal of the Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India from 06 August till 21 August, 2021 for the publishers who are yet to file their annual statements for the financial year 2020-21.”

The Press Registrar has approved the re-opening of the e-filing portal.
