Rohit Raj quits The Glitch to start fintech venture

The co-founder of The Glitch, Rohit Raj, has decided to quit the agency after 13 years, in order to start his new fintech venture. The Glitch was cofounded by Raj in the year 2009 with Varun Duggirala, and diversified it to turn into one of the leading creative agencies prior to it being acquired by WPP in the year 2018. Raj said: “Five years ago we were acquired and since then it has been a wonderful journey with WPP. I and Varun have been also working closely with Pooja Jauhari (Group CEO of VMLY&R) in the past year in order to identify the next set of leaders for our path. According to me the best way to move forward in life is to turn yourself replaceable, and currently we have the right teams to accomplish that. I thought it was time for a change after spending 14 years in the industry,”
He further added: “Through the past few years, I have been working closely with a number of start-ups and identified a new problem statement in the process. My objective is to find a solution to this by founding a fintech solution in order to assist startups to scale and get acquired. This is now at the ideation stage and I will acquire more information to share over the next months.
Chtrbbox.com was also cofounded by him in the year 2015. It uses a differentiated technological platform to connect brands with the suitable content creators and thereby strengthen the creative economy. In 2021, it got acquired by QYOU media network.
