Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged Season 5 premiers on Saturday, January 2nd at 8pm only on MTV

MTV, the iconic youth brand that has time and again redefined pop culture in India, understands the pleasure music brings to the heart and hence is back with the fifth season of its extremely successful musical show, Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged. MTV Unplugged has always been iconic and it shows artists in a completely different light. The show will be aired every Saturday at 8pm only on MTV.

Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged showcases India's biggest musical maestros performing their chart topping numbers that have swayed the nation in their most natural forms - with acoustic arrangement of music and a live studio performance sans any post production. This season, audiences are in for a treat as some of the biggest musicians of today will be seen performing unplugged music for legions of fans. The lineup this year includes massively successful musical geniuses such as Pritam, Hariharan Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sukhwinder , Jeet Gannguli , Swarathma who have proven their mettle in the Indian music industry with songs that refuse to fade into oblivion.

The trend is bound to continue with the fifth season as this year's lineup gets ready for their sound check.
