Krishna’s mischievous yet delightful stories for his love for butter are eternal!  Butter was Lord Krishna’s first love and he wouldn’t stop short of stealing it. Taking this idea forward, SAB TV, India’s most loved family channel unveils world’s biggest butter Krishna carved in 430 kg of pure butter.  Trailed by the recent launch of SAB TV’s upcoming show ‘Krishna Kanhaiya’, the fifteen feet tall sculpture of Krishna epitomizes the bliss of his cosmic and celestial existence thereby making it the Biggest Butter Krishna in the world.

Over 300 hours of hard work by several special artisans has been put in the structure. The artistes worked for over three weeks and underwent 75 hours of training and working in 10 - 15 degrees temperatures. The Butter Krishna has been conditioned to be kept in the form by installing in in a glass enclosure with regulated temperature below 15 degrees. Weighing at approximately 800kgs, the structure will be exhibited at Infiniti Mall, Andheri in Mumbai starting today till Sunday, 21st June, 2015. Post the promotion; the butter will be effectively utilized as it would be distributed to major temples in the city for their daily use.

As part of SAB’s brand belief of Differentiation through Innovation, the new show - Krishan Kanhaiya will present a unique story between a Common Man i.e. Kanhaiyalal and God i.e. Krishna. Every individual has a certain set of questions which he/she thinks he will ask God the day they meet the divine force. In the show, Kanhaiyalal poses such various questions to Lord Krishna. Persistent questions make Lord Krishna descent on earth. Krishna will be seen in a contemporary avatar and will create circumstances which automatically answer such questions posed by Kanhaiyalal while imparting wisdom to the viewers.

Mr. Anooj Kapoor, Sr. EVP and Business Head, SAB TV states “Krishna has influenced the Indian thought, life and culture in myriad ways. Be it religion, philosophy, mysticism, literature; painting, sculpture, dance or music, Krishna has touched every life. What better way of paying tribute to him than a carving of what pleases him the most - Butter.”
Krishan Kanhaiya is a wholesome humorous family entertainer and shall hit the small screen on 29th June at 10:30 pm exclusively on SAB TV.  The show will depict the adventures of Lord Krishna and Kanhaiyalal together.
