Sand artistes and a legless dancer win Neil, Deepika's heart

The first quarter finals of the second season of India's Got Talent saw Lafangey Parindey stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone pay a visit the sets to promote their latest movie. The mood was completely set in the very beginning as the two danced to their favorite peppy numbers from the film, gearing up to watch the bountiful talent on the reality show.

However, it was not just Deepika and Neil who stole the thunder that day. The sand artistes from Orissa were quite the show stoppers as they performed spectacularly, leaving not just the judges but the audience and celebrity guests spellbound as well. The group of four- Manas Kumar Sahu, Bulu Mohanty, Monalisa Sahu and Suchitra Mahashweta depicted the horror of 'Global Warming' and 'Climate Change' through their sand art. To add to the magical performance was the following act of Vinod Thakur- the legless dancer from Delhi who performed to a hip-hop track.

Not just the judges, but even the audience and the celebrity guests were impressed by Vinod's act which was full of energy and fervor. It left the onlookers especially Neil and Deepika emotional. Deepika almost turned teary-eyed. Expressing her amazement at the performance, Deepika said, "Vinod is truly gifted. Many people who are blessed with all the capabilities cannot perform like this. I am close to speechless. In fact I'm still amazed at his skill and his performance today."
