Sandeep Goyal takes over as Chairman of Rediffusion

Diwan Arun Nanda, the founder of Rediffusion, has stepped down as the Chairman of the company. He sold the agency to Tanya and Dr. Sandeep Goyal of Mogae Group in 2021.

Dr. Sandeep Goyal, who was previously the Managing Director of Rediffusion, has now become the Chairman of the company. Rediffusion was established on July 2, 1973, by Nanda, Ajit Balakrishnan, and Mohammed Khan.

During its 50th anniversary week, the agency put up bronze sculptures of its founders at its office in Mumbai.

From 1994 to 2018, a Japanese advertising company, Dentsu and an advertising company based in Madison Avenue called Young & Rubicam, which is part of WPP, owned 20 percent of the equity in Rediffusion. Because of this ownership, Rediffusion was known as Rediffusion DY&R Brand Communications.
