SCREENXX Awards 2023: ZEE5, TVF, Pankaj Tripathi, Mona Singh, Jim Sarbh steal the show

The fifth edition of the SCREENXX Awards 2023 was held in Mumbai earlier tonight, bringing the curtains down on a riveting and insightful SCREENXX Summit 2023. The day was devoted to ‘Entertainment Unplugged: Streaming and Beyond’, wherein the most brilliant minds in the Indian M&E industry and luminaries from the creative industry shared their experiences, insights and visions for the future.

The SCREENXX Awards 2023 saw enthusiastic participation from the industry with record entries received across four broad categories:

  • Popular Awards
  • Sector Awards
  • Campaign Awards
  • Special Awards

A total of 64 SCREENXX Awards 2023 were awarded.

ZEE5, the OTT platform from the ZEEL group, was adjudged OTT Platform of the Year.

The Viral Fever walked away with the award for Best Production House Of The Year.

Best Entertainment Marketing Agency of the Year award went to White Rivers Media.

Web series form the heart and soul of every OTT platform. And the web series released in the last one year that won over the Jury, critics and popular vote at SCREENXX this year are:

Pitchers - Season 2 – Was adjudged Most Popular Web Series

Mukhbir: The story of a spy – Won the award for Most Popular Web Series (Critics’ Choice)

Asur - Season 2 – Won the award for Most Popular Web Series (Adgully Choice)

The supremely talented Pankaj Tripathi was declared Best Actor Male In Web Originals for his role in ‘Criminal Justice - Adhura Sach’.

Mona Singh has come a long way from ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin’, as the actress walked away with the award for Best Actor Female In Web Originals for her role in ‘Kafas’.

Jim Sarbh was adjudged Best Actor Male In Web Originals (Critics’ Choice) for his role as Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha in the web series ‘Rocket Boys - Season 2’.

Amruta Subhash won the award for Best Actor Female In Web Originals (Critics' Choice) in the enterprising ‘Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt Ltd’.

Best Actor Male In Web Originals (Adgully Choice) award went to Sunny Hinduja as ‘Sandeep Bhaiya’; while Ridhi Dogra won the award for Best Actor Female In Web Originals (Adgully Choice) for her role in the crime thriller ‘Asur - Season 2’.

Nominated by White Rivers Media, ‘Kafas’ won the award for Best Marketing For A Web Original - Across Platforms; the Adgully Choice award in this category went to ‘Kaalkoot’.

‘Kafas’ also won the awards for Best Influencer Campaign for a Web Original and Best Marketing Campaign For Launch For Web Series ( (Critics' Choice).

The hugely popular reality show ‘Big Boss OTT’ won the award for Best Marketing Campaign For Launch For Web Series.

Naveen Kasturia and Hina Khan won the award for Rising Star Male Of The Year and Rising Star Female Of The Year, respectively. Ravie Dubey won the award for Trailblazing Actor Male Of The Year; while Rupali Ganguly won the award for Trailblazing Actor Female Of The Year.
