In a recent interview with Adgully, actress Shamita Shetty shared insights into her latest project, 'The Tenant,' her views on the evolving landscape of digital entertainment, and exciting collaborations, including her special appearance at Deltin Royale's 10th-anniversary celebration in Goa.

Shamita addresses her recent appearance in 'The Tenant,' stating, "I wouldn't exactly label it as a 'return.' However, it was initially scheduled for a pre-lockdown release, but the theatrical release had to be postponed due to lockdown and my commitments to other projects." She expresses her attraction to the project, saying, "What drew me to this project was its intriguing and compelling storyline, as well as the opportunity to portray a character with depth and complexity. 'The Tenant' provided the ideal platform to appear on the big screen, and it should be available for streaming on an OTT platform very soon."

Shamita reflects on the evolving landscape of digital entertainment, saying, "In the entertainment industry, each medium has its unique significance, and they all evolve over time to offer improved experiences." She finds the digital platform's ability to deliver immersive storytelling particularly exciting, noting, "It's every artist's aspiration to have the opportunity to portray such captivating characters."

Coming from a Bollywood background, Shamita acknowledges her family's influence on her career choices. She shares advice from her sister, Shilpa Shetty, saying, "My sister always encourages me to focus on the future and have a forward-thinking approach and not dwell on the past." Shamita appreciates her family's support, stating, "I'm eager to keep improving and honing my skills, and I deeply appreciate my family's support in everything I do. As they say, ‘work and family are the cornerstones of one's life."

Shamita discusses the significance of dance in her life, saying, "Dance holds a significant place in my life, and I truly value its role in our profession as a means of artistic expression." While expressing openness to exploring new dance forms for character enhancement, she adds, "Looking ahead, I remain open to opportunities that may require me to explore new dance forms to enhance a character or project."

Shamita shares her excitement about collaborating with Deltin Royale for their 10th-anniversary celebration in Goa, stating, "What excited me the most for Deltin Royale's Tenniversary was being a part of such a significant milestone in their journey." She adds, "Celebrating in a place as vibrant as Goa and being able to engage with the enthusiastic audience and share in the festivities added an extra layer of excitement to the collaboration."

Shamita reflects on the highlights of the Deltin Royale event, stating, "The highlights of the event undoubtedly revolved around the winners, their boundless happiness, and the privilege of being a part of that moment." She describes the energy and enthusiasm of the audience, saying, "It was a perfect blend of luck, skills, and entertainment."

As a public figure, Shamita discusses engaging with fans during her visit to Deltin Royale, stating, "The warm and positive greetings from the audience at public events have always meant a lot to me." During her visit, she extended her heartfelt wishes for their gaming luck, stating, "I hope it was as memorable for them as it was for me."

Shamita expresses excitement about upcoming OTT projects while maintaining confidentiality, stating, "I'm particularly excited about the OTT projects in the pipeline. I can't disclose specific details at the moment due to confidentiality agreements, I can assure you that there are some fantastic opportunities in the works."
