Shantanu Deshpande, Founder & CEO of Bombay Shaving Company, disclosed a lesser known, but very interesting dimension of the Visage Lines Personal Care (of BSC and Bombae fame) business, in a LinkedIn post. In addition to two thriving Personal Care brands for men and women, the Company has also been building out a D2C Services arm, on the backbone of its expertise. What started out as an experiment two years back, has been quietly flourishing in the background.

As Deshpande’s post reveals, in a very short time, Visage Lines has successfully grown the Durex brand’s D2C business meaningfully with its end-to-end and holistic services. Encouraged by investor confidence and a proven model, Visage Lines Personal Care’s D2C arm – 100days.co – has already onboarded a stellar list of clients, and the team has been further strengthened to create more value for companies in 2023 – with Maninder Singh, the man who helped set up the Bombay Shaving Company D2C ecosystem at the helm.

It’s interesting to note that in challenging times, when many D2C brands are queueing up for stability through acquisition, Visage Lines is reimagining traditional business operations for its own brands and large-legacy players.
