SnapDeal expands it wings launches in Mumbai

Jasper, one of India's marketing solutions company, that launched a deal-of-the-day website named SnapDeal (www.snapdeal.in) in the first week of February 2010 in Delhi, now announced the start of its Mumbai operations. The website offers 50%-80% discounts on meals at fine restaurants, shopping at the top brands, beauty and health packages, lifestyle products, travel, entertainment and much more.

With the initial offers being available on www.snapdeal.in since the launch, the company with its operations now in three cities- Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore- has acquired www.snapdeal.com from a US based company.

According to Kunal Bahl, Chief Executive Officer, Jasper, "SnapDeal is our effort to bring buyers and sellers together in a collaborative and focused way. The website offers customers with great and cost effective deals and provides the merchants with a whole new set of new customers. SnapDeal will offer some never before discounts on all kinds of products and services and these offers would be exclusively available on the site for only 24 hours. The website will focus on one offer a day across the country with a simple yet exciting proposition."

Since the launch, the services received a tremendous response with over 75 merchants on board and a few hundred satisfied customers in just a week's time.

"SnapDeal is a concept that will appeal across categories and segments of buyers. From a college-goer looking for a good time to a tourist seeking a great deal on eating out, SnapDeal will be one stop daily destination for things to do across the country," added Kunal Bahl.

Jasper had also initiated a Facebook interface to update the audiences at large about the latest offers and deals on its site. The Facebook page which also addresses concerns, queries or feedback from the customers, is already a 1000+ strong members community in just a week of its launch.
