Sourav Ganguly invests in food delivery startup JustMyRoots

Former cricketer Sourav Ganguly has made an undisclosed investment in the food delivery startup JustMyRoots and will also be endorsing the brand. Ganguly announced this development through his Facebook account, expressing his excitement about the investment and his support for the company's mission.

JustMyRoots is India's first and largest intercity food delivery platform, focused on reconnecting people with their cultural roots and preserving regional cuisine. Ganguly praised the company for its innovative approach and its commitment to celebrating diverse culinary experiences.

One notable aspect of JustMyRoots is its subsidiary called Acaya, which has developed groundbreaking solutions for maintaining food temperature during delivery. Acaya has created a hot chain solution that can keep food hot for up to four to five hours, as well as a cold chain solution for preserving perishable food for up to 72 hours. The company has even applied for a patent for these solutions with the Indian patent office.

In addition to its involvement in the food delivery sector, JustMyRoots has plans to establish manufacturing plants to offer these temperature maintenance solutions to other industries as well. This indicates the company's ambition to expand its innovative offerings beyond just the food sector.
