Star World to air popular comedy series at 10 PM from 4th October

For the first time ever, Star World and Star World HD, is all set to air two popular comedy shows starting 4^th October, weeknights at 10 PM. A first for the channel, the ‘Star World 10-Tickles’ slot will surely help alleviate some of the viewers’ daily stress.

The channel has brought about this major content showcase change on primetime based on a strong consumer insight that viewers are looking to unwind and simply let go the day’s worries before they turn in for the night. While family dramas and crime thrillers get the adrenaline going, a good dose of laughter towards the end of their day makes people forget their daily worries. Drawing on this consumer insight, Star World has introduced Star World 10-tickles in order to bring a smile on viewers’ faces and end their busy day on a happy note. 

‘Star World 10-Tickles’ will launch with the Emmy nominated show Black-ish Seasons 1 and 2. Fans can catch the antics of the Johnson family, led by patriarch Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson, as he maneuvers his and his family’s life to match that of the traditionally white society they reside in.

Following Black-ish will be the widely popular television series New Girl Seasons 4 and 5 at 10.30 PM starting on the same day. The show centered on friendship and the complexities of relationships, follows the journey of ‘Jess’ played by Zooey Deschanel as she tries to maintain the delicate balance with her three roommates and her childhood best friend.

The combination of these two rib-tickling shows on weeknights at 10 PM is sure to lift viewers’ spirits and ensure that they sleep with a smile on their face every night.
