State of Affairs is an American espionage thriller series starring Katherine Heigl as CIA analyst Charleston Tucker, who is tasked with assembling and presenting the President's Daily Briefing on the most vital security issues facing the country, and Alfre Woodard as the first black woman to be elected President of the United States, Constance Payton. Numerous photos of national landmarks featuring an Arabic symbol surface. Meanwhile, Charlie is in Yemen to make contact with her asset; Nick's masked captor leads him to his next mission; Lucas oversees an interrogation at Langley; and President Payton must make a difficult decision.
Emmy Award-winning actress Katherine Heigl’s portrayal of the defiant Tucker is further elevated by the expected grace of Alfre Woodard, which also earned her a nomination for the 2015 NAACP Image Award for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’.
