Suryaputran Karn gets an extension!

Given the fact that shows are going off air overnight, it's quite a feat for a show to get an extension. Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Suryaputra Karn (on sony), which features actor Gautam Rode in the title role, was to end this month. However, it has got a new lease of life in the wake of a rise in its ratings. Says a source, “Karn was supposed to be a 150-episode finite series but now, it has been extended till May."

Gautam confirms, “It's true and we are treating this extension as second season. It's a result of great team work.“ Saurabh Pandey says, " The makers (Producer duo Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary) have made a fantastic show. The life of Karn is shown with different perspective which is appealing to the audiences. I am proud to be associated with the show"
