Suzuki launches 'Being Human' branded Access scooters

Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited (SMIL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan has extended the ambit of its association with actor Salman Khan by joining hands with the ‘Being Human Foundation’. To mark the occasion, Salman Khan arrived at a Suzuki dealership in Mumbai to purchase a ‘Being Human’ branded Access. Suzuki has designed a special edition of its bestseller scooter Suzuki Access for this collaboration. The model will be available at all Suzuki outlets.

The proceeds from Salman Khan’s activities for the foundation go towards education and healthcare for the underprivileged. The collaboration is rooted in Suzuki’s philosophy of making positive social contributions as a corporate citizen.Suzuki dealerships will act as outlets for Being Human apparel and merchandize. The tie-up will step-up in three phases, starting with Being Human branded apparel and progressing to biking accessories.Revenues earned from this will be directed towards causes such as education of the underprivileged, cataract operations, heart surgeries and bone marrow donation camps.

Being Human Merchandise was launched in 2009 and has since garnered attention owing to the extensive campaigning by actor Salman Khan and members of the Indian film fraternity. While currently ‘Being Human’ outlets are present in Mumbai, Ludhiana and Ahmedabad, the collaboration with Suzuki will take the branded apparel across the country.
