Swiggy launches a special 'Eat list' curated by Mandira Bedi

The festive season brought with it love, laughter and a whole lot of food. After indulging to their heart’s content, as Diwali revelries wind down, healthy eating has come back into focus. Swiggy HealthHub witnessed a 25% increase in “healthy food” orders after the Diwali weekend. To recover from the non-stop feast and inspire users to get back on track in their healthy food journey,  popular celebrity and fitness icon Mandira Bedi has curated her “Eat List” which can be found in the HealthHub section on the Swiggy app.

Mandira has been in incredible shape throughout her career spanning three decades and is well-known for her fitness levels. Her fitness routine and diet have been a source of curiosity and wonder for many. Swiggy HealthHub will now not only spill the beans on Mandira’s diet choices but also enable users to order the very same combination of meals for themselves.

Speaking about the exclusive “Eat List” she has curated for users of Swiggy HealthHub, Mandira Bedi said, “As a fitness enthusiast, I believe that a healthy diet and exercise are both equally important. Having a healthy diet is essential for our overall wellbeing, both physical and mental and it is something that I can vouch for. Among the many changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic has been a marked increase in overall consciousness to eat healthy – a trend reflected in the fact that orders for healthy food have tripled on the Swiggy platform in the last year. Swiggy’s Health Hub was launched in July 2020 to offer healthy food options to users. It gives the nutritional break-up of each dish along with its calorie count. Over 300 restaurant brands joined health Hub in the last three months, with even indulgent brands now jumping on the health-food bandwagon by offering consumers healthier alternatives to their most-loved dishes. Since September 2021, Swiggy has seen 40% growth in healthy food offerings by brands. Swiggy HealthHub currently has over 100,000 healthy dishes of which 15,000 healthy alternatives to top indulgent dishes were added in the last three months alone. Swiggy foresees this restaurant trend of creating healthier alternatives to continue over the coming months.
