Swiggy to charge platform fee of Rs 2 on all food orders 

Online food ordering platform Swiggy has declared that it will be charging a platform fee of Rs 2 per order. 
As per media reports, the platform charge will be imposed on every order irrespective of the cart value.  The charges are initiated in Bengaluru and Hyderabad and yet to be effective in Delhi and Mumbai. 

The slowdown in the delivery business in January is said to be the reason for this fee. The company also had sacked around 380 employees.
