Tata Play opens its fourth retail store in Bangalore

In a constant endeavour to make life more Jingalala for subscribers and customers, one of India’s leading content distribution platform Tata Play (formally known as Tata Sky) today announced the opening of its fourth Jingalala Store in Bangalore, Karnataka. The first store was inaugurated early this year at Sri Byraveshwara, ITI Layout, Hosapalya. This new store like the previous one will offer customers an elevated experience of Tata Play’s range of products & services under one roof.

Located in South Karnataka, opposite to St Philomena's School, Dhayanand College Road, 14th cross, no:3830, 50 Ft Road, Kumarswamy Layout, 2nd stage Bangalore, the experience store will serve as a direct touchpoint for customers, offering the complete array of services from Tata Play, including Tata Play DTH, Tata Play Binge+ Android enabled Set-top, Tata Play Binge Fire TV Stick and Tata Play Fibre. The brand recently announced Tata Play Binge Combo Packs –that, provides the best of broadcast channels and OTT apps in one integrated pack, making entertainment consumption further consumer-friendly. Tata Play Netflix combo packs were also introduced that allows to avail Netflix along with broadcast channels.

The store, owned and operated by a franchisee, and is equipped with trained staff to cater to customers’ personalized requirements, including product demo, priority installations, query resolution and other after-sales services.

Sharing his views on the store opening, Neil Suares, Chief Sales Officer, Tata Play, said, “As we have now rebranded to Tata Play, this new Jingalala store will help in making entertainment aur bhi Jingalala. The store will serve as our fourth direct point of sale with customers in Bangalore, giving them a chance to experience the myriad entertainment possibilities that come with a Tata Play connection. It will give Tata Play an increased visibility in the market and offer the ‘touch & feel’ factor that continues to be an important aspect in the buying process of Indian customers.”

The store will be giving an enhanced user experience for existing and prospective customers wherein they will get a detailed understanding of the wide range of Tata Play products. Skilled personnel will guide them through the complete purchase process. The after-sales services will include:

  • Box upgrades
  • Changing packs and channels
  • Getting a spare remote or resolving any other customer complaints
