Tata Sky lunches seven new channels on its platform

In the constant endeavour to offer the best programming content to its subscribers, Tata Sky Ltd., the joint venture between the TATA Group and STAR announced the launch of seven new channels on its platform. The new channels include a mix of niche lifestyle and entertainment, news and regional movies that will offer greater entertainment value to its growing premium subscriber base of over 4.5 million connections.

The new channels include Discovery Turbo, Discovery Science, ET Now, Zee Talkies, 24 Taas, 24 Ghanta and Sony Aath.

In addition, Tata Sky recently launched another innovative interactive service, Active English. The first-of-its-kind across the globe, Actve English aims at enhancing conversational English amongst Indian housewives.

Apart from the interesting way of learning, Actie English offers multiple other benefits. The service enables learning in the privacy of their home. Since, Actve English is on air for 24 hours, learning can be done at a time most convenient to the learner.
