The Archies on Netflix: A countdown to cinematic bliss with buzz and collaborations

The eagerly awaited Netflix film "The Archies," directed and produced by Zoya Akhtar, brings a fresh take to the classic Archie Comics by relocating the gang to a 1964 Anglo-Indian hill station. The cast, including Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and star kids Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor, sparked initial excitement.

However, the buzz is not only about the cast; the film's marketing team has played a crucial role, implementing numerous out-of-the-box strategies to sustain the excitement.

Set to release on December 7, 2023, the movie has unveiled a 100-day countdown billboard on the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. The primary purpose of the billboard is to serve as a daily reminder of the film's upcoming release on Netflix.

In June, at Netflix's TUDUM event in Sao Paulo, the cast members of The Archies stole the show with their dance performance on the song "Suno."
Suhana also posted a social media video and said, "Thank you for having us, Brazil, you were incredible."

On Independence Day the cast of the film The Archies gathered together for a special initiative in a unique and meaningful celebration. The cast served meals in a Mumbai restaurant. On Independence Day, the restaurant threw a feast with the noble purpose of donating all revenues to those in need.

Tinder has roped in DOT., the mysterious girl from soon-to-be released Netflix’s The Archies film, to spotlight Incognito Mode. Incognito Mode is a step up from fully hiding your profile. It offers Tinder subscribers the ability to maintain full control over their visibility while engaging with the Tinder app. Subscribers can still Like and Nope profiles, but only those whom they've liked will see them in their recommendations.

Following the announcement of Suhana Khan as the brand ambassador in April 2023, the brand has forged a collaboration with "The Archies" and introduced the Limited Edition Pack featuring Fit Me Foundation, Colossal Bold Eyeliner, Mascara, and a 60s-tinted Blush. This collection is carefully curated to evoke the essence of the 60s with a contemporary twist.
