The Mountain Walker and Glossaread engage for premium travel content

Travel media start-up, The Mountain Walker, announced a medium-term agreement with Glossaread. Under the engagement, The Mountain Walker will provide exclusive premium travel content to the customers of Glossaread’s proprietary content platform.

The agreement is the first global tie-up for Pune-based The Mountain Walker, a specialized Media company with a disruptive growth strategy. “We are specialists in Mountain Travel, we like to take our time, smell the roses so to say, and our aim is to provide a media experience that reflects our values. We are not in a hurry – we would like to add one reader, one consumer at a time, and get to know our community, get to know their needs, their expectations, better,” says Abhishek Kaushal, Co – Founder and Chief Executive of The Mountain Walker.

Ameen Shaikh, Co – Founder and Chief of Operations for The Mountain Walker, adds another dimension to the engagement: “We are from the mountains of Himachal Pradesh in India, and the biggest lesson one learns in the Himalayas is that you need to be part of a community to change the world into a better place. Glossaread is a specialist, which provides writers and content creators and publishers an avenue of generating value for their content. Mountain Walker is building a network of high-quality writers led by our own writers and editors, focused purely on mountain travel and we are very excited about the possibilities that Glossaread offers.”

Chandrabhanu Pattajoshi, the charismatic Founder and CEO of Glossaread, knows what he’s doing. A former business development manager with the Times of India group, he was also the head of strategies for Yahoo India at a time when the internet giant was growing exponentially in India. “Glossaread (Patent Pending now in US & India)  is an India start-up focused on monetizing content through their powerful recommendation engine through User Pay. I believe that User Pay is a huge global opportunity for content creators to generate commercial value from their creative hardwork. With Glossaread, readers and users don't have to access content through a media brand’s subscription system - you get to choose what you read and you pay as you purchase … and it’s all exclusive content published on Glossaread.”
