Thomas Cook offers scholarship programs

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. has announced the "Thomas Cook Wings Scholarship', a unique offer for students travelling abroad for further studies.

The number of students travelling abroad year on year usually peaks during the months of July to September. TCIL acknowledged the need for easy travel for student segment by introducing "U Special' three years ago.

Commenting on the Thomas Cook Wings Scholarship for Season 2010, Mahesh Iyer, Vice President ' Foreign Exchange, TCIL said, "When we launched "U Special' three years ago, the response was phenomenal due to many reasons, this was a customized product aimed at assisting a student in the best possible manner. Thomas Cook Wings Scholarship is a step up, conceptualized from its response for such young aspirants to plan their travel. This year, the Company takes the already well established and accepted offer to the next level, by introducing various programs under the brand name "U SPECIAL.' One such program for this season is the "Thomas Cook Wings Scholarship" - a once in a lifetime opportunity for students travelling overseas for further studies to avail of a lucky chance of winning an education scholarship worth an air ticket. 10 shortlisted students can win a scholarship worth upto Rs. 35,000/- each, the scheme being valid till 30th Sept. 2010.
