Tinder releases Most Right-Swiped Jobs in India

Tinder, the world’s most popular app for meeting new people, recently released its list of “Most Right-Swiped” jobs in the U.S.  Today, Tinder is sharing which jobs are the most right-swiped in India. Founders/Owners and Managing Directors/Directors and Architects are among the most right-swiped men on Tinder while General Managers, Founders/Owners and Executive Assistants are among the most right-swiped women. Founders/Owners ranked highly for both males and females.

In November, Tinder introduced Smart Profiles, which integrated job and education into Tinder Profiles.  This was one of the most requested features for Tinder profiles from India. This allows users to make more informed choices when deciding to swipe left (pass), right (like), or even up (to indicate a Super Like). Although it is optional to share job and education on a profile, it has been very well received by users, especially in India, and has improved the quality of matches.

Taru Kapoor, Head – India, Tinder says, “India was one of the top countries that requested job and education details. Ever since the update, we have seen a dramatic increase in swipes as well as more engagement between matches. It is amazing to know that people love the feature and use Tinder as a social discovery platform, to connect with people that have common interests and interesting backgrounds.”
