Toonz signs Rs 20-cr deal with Big B's firm
Thiruvananthapuram based animation company, Toonz Animation, has tied up with Amitabh Bachchan Corporation for a 90-minute animation film production, which is based on the life of the legendary actor, with an estimated production cost of Rs 20 crore.
The 3-D film, which features twin characters and has been given the working title, Twinergy, is predominantly aimed at Indian audiences, but will also be released for worldwide theatre audiences.
Toonz Animation, has completed a decade of operations this year, has a clientele including Disney, BBC, Marvel, Paramount, Universal, Cartoon Network and Hallmark.
