Top Level Changes At Apple

Apple has announced elevation of Jeff Williams to the position of COO (Chief Operating Officer). “Jeff is hands-down the best operations executive I’ve ever worked with,” stated Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Williams, till now was SVP, operations at the technology major, and made a mark for myself for his contribution to Apple Watch team.

In other alignments in the company, Phil Schiller, SVP, worldwide marketing would be in charge of App Store across all Apple platforms, and Johny Srouji would become  a part of Apple’s executive team as SVP, hardware technologies.

Meanwhile, Tor Myhren, Grey Worldwide Chief Creative Officer is moving to Apple as VP marketing communications. He would be joining early next year. He would be replacing Hiroki Asai, who is retiring after 18 years and is credited for excellent graphic design and marketing communications at the company.
