United Mediaworks' digital cinema server, DIGIBUTOR expands its presence across 4 states in India

United Mediaworks’ Digital Cinema Server, DIGIBUTOR has now expanded its services across Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. Currently available in Bihar and Gujarat, DIGIBUTOR assists in digital distribution of films at 512 bit encryption, to get the highest level of security system. With this expansion, DIGIBUTOR will now provide services in nearly 200 screens across India.

The company provides scalable technology based products and services aiming to support the media and entertainment industry in India. Its feature “Smart Movie Download” allows download of an entire movie in its network cinemas in just 40 minutes. This process not only not only reduces time but also help to save precious energy and reduce manual labour.

Speaking on the expansion, Ashish Bhandari, Co-Founder & Joint Managing Director, United Mediaworks said, “We are glad to announce that our services will now be available across nearly 200 screens in India. We have received an fantastic response from producers and distributors and hope it continues to grow robustly. Currently we aim to add 300 more screens by the end of this fiscal.”

United Mediaworks (UMW) was launched in June 2011, by the Bhandari Brothers, Ashish and Sachin along with Dr. Pradeep Tapadiya. United Mediaworks has developed its patented product called DIGIBUTOR, a Digital Cinema Server. The company has set up its digital cinema processing facility in Mumbai with product development facility in USA.
