Viacom18's Nina Elavia Jaipuria moves on after 17 years

Nina Elavia Jaipuria, who served as the Head of Hindi Mass Entertainment & Kids TV Network at Viacom18, has left the company after dedicating 17 years to it. In 2006, Jaipuria began her journey with Viacom18 as the business head of Nickelodeon.

This development follows closely after Ravish Kumar, who oversaw the regional entertainment (Kannada and Marathi clusters), stepped down, and it comes two months after Manisha Sharma's departure as the Chief Content Officer for Hindi mass entertainment.

During her tenure, she played a significant role in the growth of the network's kids segment, expanding it from a single channel to four channels, namely Nick, Sonic, Nick Jr, and Nick HD+. In 2018, her responsibilities were extended to include overseeing the Hindi and Kids TV Network.

Before her tenure at Viacom18, Jaipuria worked at Sony Entertainment Television (SET) for over three years as Vice President of Marketing & Communication. During her time at SET, she was responsible for channel marketing and communication, leading the creation of campaigns for popular shows like "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi" and "Indian Idol."

Nina Elavia Jaipuria has also held positions at BPL Cellular, Colgate-Palmolive, and Lowe Lintas during her career.
